Vis Com 1 is a 10-week online drawing class offered by Concept Design Academy, focused on building the foundations as a designer. The class explored how to break down objects into simple geometric shapes, as well as how to approach organic forms and hard-surface objects.
The class helped me build more confidence in my lines and develop a better understanding of how complex shapes can be constructed from simple forms. Beyond the technical practice, it was also a fun and meditative experience — a chance to slow down, spend some quiet time with a pen and paper, appreciate the beauty in shapes and textures, and enjoy the process of drawing.
